Hotel Perula

Hotel Perula has great location: in Sultanahmet district very close to main places of interest (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Basilica Cistern etc). Restaurants, souvenir shops etc are also close by. It is about 5-7 mins walk to 2 tram stops (Cemberlitas and Sultanahmet), from where you can get a tram across Golden Horn / Bosphorus to the other side of the city. Hotel staff is very friendly and welcoming. I had a room with a street view, it was cozy and clean. The added benefit was a safe (where you can keep your valuables) and a mini bar. Breakfast is served on the roof terrace (6th floor) and in the morning you can enjoy a view of the Blue Mosque and the sea – which definitely adds to the experience. This hotel is great value for money for those who would like to explore historic part of Istanbul.

Very informative and helpful front desk staff, they were proactive and contacted me in advance regarding tour booking information and airport transfers. Very helpful with sightseeing directions and assistance with off-site laundry service. Excellent location for the Sultanahmet area, 2 minutes walk to the Blue Mosque and 3 minutes to Sophie Hagia and 4 minutes to Basilica. Lovely quaint rooftop restaurant in level 6 ( nb have to climb stairs from 5th to 6th floor) for extensive panoramic views of Istanbul city and port area. Good small and friendly hamam within walking distance from hotel as well as many food and shopping options.

The housekeeping staff did a phenomenal job maintaining a pristine room, and their thoughtful touches did not go unnoticed. What truly set this hotel apart was the personal touch in every interaction which is all the near door steps like Hagia Sofia, Blue Masjid, Grand Bazar, Bosphorus cruse. The staff's genuine care and professionalism created an atmosphere that felt both welcoming and luxurious. I personally recommend Hotel Perula to all of my friend and families.

hospitality was excellent . very helpful . location also excellent . great food in the roof top restaurant with a view over the city. We loved the tea , Apple tea, pomegranate Tea , black tea . we were not tea drinkers before . they arranged our shuttles to and from airport , also excellent . we booked two tours with them also excellent . we had our own guide who was very knowledgeable. was a very excellent choice . i would totally recommend this hotel to stay . easy walk everywhere we wanted to go .

the hospitality . it was so good this was our second stay here . the staff are the best part and the location is excellent in the old city . easy to walk around . guides will pick you up for a fabulous walking tour to enjoy the history of the city . plenty of eateries on your doorstep including the roof top. we booked 2 stays here . if you are wanting to experience Turkish culture this is a great place to stay .
